BY JAY was created from personal experience.
I live with chronic psoriasis, and over the years I’ve dealt with extremely dry, uncomfortable skin and the frustration that comes with trying product after product without finding something that gave me the level of moisture and comfort I wanted.
That experience is what pushed me to start developing something of my own.
What began as a simple idea quickly became months of formulation work, testing, refinement and learning. The aim was never to make huge promises or overcomplicate skincare, it was to create a straightforward, well-made balm for dry and very dry skin, using carefully chosen ingredients that feels good to use every day.
BY JAY Skin Balm V1 is the result of that journey.
Living with psoriasis has given me a very personal understanding of how much uncomfortable skin can affect your confidence and day-to-day life. That experience sits at the heart of BY JAY, but the product itself is simply about good, honest skincare and helping skin feel moisturised, soft and cared for.

BY JAY Skin Balm V1 is made with a carefully selected blend of eight ingredients:
Refined Shea Butter - rich and nourishing, helping to soften and moisturise dry skin.
Mango Butter - helps condition the skin and supports a smooth, creamy balm texture.
Jojoba Oil - a lightweight oil that helps soften the skin without feeling overly greasy.
Oat Oil - valued for its skin-conditioning properties and especially suited to dry-feeling skin.
Calendula-Infused Sunflower Oil - a gentle botanical oil blend that helps nourish and condition the skin.
White Beeswax - helps create a protective-feeling barrier and gives the balm its structure.
Cetyl Alcohol - a fatty alcohol used to improve the balm’s texture, smoothness and spreadability.
Vitamin E - an antioxidant that helps condition the skin and also supports the stability of the oils in the formula.

Right here in Yorkshire. BY JAY Skin Balm is proudly hand made in Yorkshire in small batches, with care, consistency and a lot of pride behind every tin.
